Judges’ Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence: Quebec’s Courts Adopt Common Guidelines
The Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Court of Québec and the Municipal Courts announce the adoption of common guidelines governing the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) by judges.
These guidelines are intended to provide a framework for the use of generative AI by judges, particularly in the absence of an authorized, secure institutional tool deployed within the operational environment of each court.
